Ice

This is one of the FOTD's I've created using my new MAC goodies! I'm really pleased with how it turned out :)
I really like that its bright, but still wearable. I wore this to work (Gloria Jeans) and got a few compliments too!

  • Sugarbaby Opal Blink eyeshadow (inner corner)
  • MAC Shroom eyeshadow (lid)
  • MAC Freshwater eyeshadow (outer v, crease, lower lashline)
  • NYX Blach eyeshadow (tiiiiny amount, crease, outer lower lashline)
  • Jordana Fabuliner Liquid Liner
  • Bourjois Liner Effect mascara

  • MAC Stereo Rose MSF
(In the pic, Stereo Rose looks like a really heavy application. It didn't look quite that excessive IRL)

I'm falling in love with Freshwater :D

Thanks for looking

MAC Haul :D

Here in Aus, MAC's "In The Groove" was only released yesterday. I was really only interested in the mineralize skinfinishes, and was lucky enough to get my hands on 2 stereo rose and 1 petticoat. Then I also bought 3 eyeshadows... Satin Taupe, Shroom and Freshwater.

Looks fairly pinkish here with flash on.. Its more a coral colour.

My new love!

Satin Taupe - Taupe brown with silvery bronze shimmer (Frost)

With Flash.

Shroom - Soft muted golden beige with opalescent shimmer (Satin)

Freshwater - Bright summersky blue (Veluxe Pearl)

Were any of you able to get your hands on Stereo Rose? What are your thoughts?

^ With flash ^

As usual, these photo's don't do the colours justice.

My favourite combination was probably Ink + Shocker. It created the most gorgeous, vibrant, stunning purple with a hint of blue shimmer. It was amazingggg.

I also really liked Hottie layered over Yoga To Get This Blue, which resulted in amazing glittery blue hotness :D

The only thing I don't like about is having to remove Hottie. Its a bit of a pain trying to get rid of all the glitter. Other than that, I love that it doesn't feel like a chunky glitter polish like you might expect.

I bought the Sinful and LA Colours polishes from Cherry Culture at a really great price. Head over and check them out.

Let me know your favourite polish or polish combo in the comments :)

EOTD and New Hair :)

I have purple hair :D:D:D

These pics were taken late last night, after being at work for 9 hours. The makeup isn't perfect, and I was sooo tired.

This eyeshadow combo has quickly become a favourite of mine. Its simply MAC's Push The Edge pigment in the crease and lower lashline, with an Inglot eyeshadow on the lid. I'm not sure about the numbering for the Inglot eyeshadow, but its a skin tone colour with glitter and its amaaaazing :D

Click here to see pics/swatches :)

My hair probably doesn't look that different in photos, but it is a gorgeous dark purple, which looks black in some lighting. I also just got some extra layers put in and a bit of a trim, so theres not much difference in length. Still want it just a wee bit longer :D
