Paparazz-she! + a question!?

Shit name huh? Tell me about it. Literally had no ideas what to call this post. I tried being "creative" but my brain just isn't working.

I did this a couple weeks ago. I'd just gotten Motorhead eyeshadow from the Jeanius collection, and I'd never used my Paparazz-she, soooo I decided to use them together :)

Onto the photos...

Loving my lashes here! :)

Eyes:
  • Motorhead Eyeshadow (lid)
  • Paparazz-she Eyeshadow (lower lashline)
  • Tweet Me Eyeshadow (inner corner)
  • Blacktrack Fluidline
  • Maybelline Falsies Mascara

Unfortunately I dont remember what I used on my lips and cheeks, possibly stereo rose and a random nude gloss? :)

QUESTION:

What kinds of things do you want to see on my blog?

I really want to improve my blog, so I'm willing to take on board any suggestions anyone has.

More makeup looks, tutorials, outfits, heels, reviews, swatches etc.

Let me know in the comments!

Thankyouuuu :)

NFU OH HOLOGRAPIC!!!!!!!!!

Let me just start by saying.. THIS POLISH IS FREAKING AMAZINGGGGG!

Although I don't actually own another holographic polish, in my mind, Nfu Oh #61 would blow them right out of the water!!

Check it out for yourself...

Pretty sick right?!?!

I managed to score this beauty off ebay.. I'm so glad I stayed up to outbid the other buyers! haha

I also have 2 other Nfu Oh polishes, they are flakies and also amazing!
Since they aren't available to buy in Australia, basically the only place to snag them is on ebay.

Do any of you own any Nfu Oh polishes? Let me know!

:)

Twinkle!

Hello my lovely followers :)

Today I bring you a look I did over the weekend. I was off to a going-away-party for a girl I worked with, and wanted to play with one of my new sleek palettes. I used the sparkle palette and impressed myself with how the look turned out.

Its actually a really simple look and easy to achieve :)

I had already been drinking when I took these photos as I waited for my friends to arrive, apparently I was too unsteady to take any decently focussed photos lol.

Please, pleease, pleeeeease click the images to see the true beauty of these colours! :)

^^ Twinklies ^^ :D

EYES:

  • Sleek Twinkle Eyeshadow (lid)
  • Sugarpill Poison Plum (crease, lower lashline)
  • Sleek Cranberry Eyeshadow (just above crease)
  • MAC Vanilla Pigment (inner corner)
  • Jordana Fabuliner (upper lashline)
  • MAC Blacktrack Fluidline (waterline)
  • Maybelline Falsies Mascara

I'm going out for dinner tonight, better go get ready!! :)

Let me know what you think of this look!

Inglot Colour Play

Here's a quick look I threw together last night, y'know.. just for fun.

I used the Inglot palette I made, a post about that (including swatches) can be found here.

This look used all 5 colours from that palette, with the addition of Sugarpill's Poison Plum layered over the purple Inglot colour in the crease as it needed some extra *oomph* :)

Let me know what your thoughts are on this colour combo, or if you'd use the same colours differently.

Thanks for stopping by :)

OPI Stars Align Nail Apps -mini review-

Hey guys,

Today I'm sharing a mini post with you about OPI's Nail Apps. Many brands a releasing their own versions of these, another popular one being Sally Hanson Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips.

Just to point out, this is the first time I have ever tried anything like this, so I wasn't exactly sure the best way to go about it. But I did my best, and here are the results:

I love the way these look from a small distance, but up close, there is much to be desired. I was trying to get them done quickly, probably the main reason they aren't perfect.

The bottoms of the apps are very square, and as I was trying to get them to fit my nails properly, they all ended up looking different. Also, there were a few that I had bubble issues with, being near impossible to smooth them out for a flawless finish.

PRO'S:
  • Large variety of fun designs available.
  • Generally, they last longer (on me, at least) than to wear normal nailpolish.
  • They don't chip.
  • Make nails feel thicker and stronger.

CON'S:
  • A little time consuming, at least for beginners.
  • Difficult to file the excess off.
  • I could often feel the tips snagging on things, or would get a bit of lift in some corners of the tips.

Would I buy again? Possibly. A definite yes if there was a design I absolutely loved and couldn't live without.

I am hoping to be able to try the Sally Hansen ones at some point. Considering they aren't sold here, to my knowledge, I shall be stalking Ebay for some in the future!

Have any of you tried this type of nail product? What are you thoughts? What brand would you recommend?

:)
